Perfect Pedal

The Perfect Pedal was born out of inventor Gary Gibson’s frustration with what was available in all but the most expensive (thousands of dollars) simulator pedal sets. All of the low- to mid-range pedal sets use a position sensor to measure how far you have pushed the brake pedal. In all real-life brake applications, the force of how hard you push the pedal is what stops the car. This is why it is impossible to even approximately simulate a brake pedal with a position sensor.

The Perfect Pedal team went at the problem in a completely new way. We believed the best way to simulate a hydraulic braking system is to use a hydraulic system. This is exactly what we have done and patented.

When you push on the Perfect Pedal, it compresses a hydraulic cylinder that is attached to a pressure sensor. This sensor’s electronic output goes into our proprietary circuit board, which translates the signal into a form that is compatible with your computer hardware. You have complete adjustment of the total force needed to stop and also how much the pedal travels. This is all done without changing the pedal pressure/braking force relationship.

We believe the result is the most realistic simulator brake pedal at any price. You will, too!
