NASCAR Cup Gen 6: Official Release

iRacing introduced the NASCAR Gen 6 Cup cars in 2013 Season 2 (March 2013), bringing modern NASCAR racing to the sim. This content pack included the Chevy SS, Ford Fusion, and Toyota Camry, marking a new era of manufacturer-specific body styles and higher downforce packages.

The Gen 6 cars were faster, sleeker, and more aero-dependent than their predecessors, the Car of Tomorrow. They became the backbone of iRacing’s oval racing content for years, hosting official series and special events that mirrored NASCAR’s real-world Cup schedule.
