When Kansas Speedway was introduced to iRacing, it added one of NASCAR’s most racy intermediate ovals to the service. Opened in 2001, the real-world Kansas quickly became a staple on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar, and its digital counterpart brought the same flavor of multi-groove action to sim racers.
The release captured the track’s defining characteristic: progressive banking that allows for multiple racing lines. From the bottom lane to the wall-hugging rim ride, Kansas offers a wide range of options, creating side-by-side action and strategy battles in every series. Its arrival in iRacing gave members another high-speed, intermediate venue where tire management, draft awareness, and line choice all come together.
What makes it unique
