Las Vegas Motor Speedway joined iRacing on February 9, 2010, as part of the 2010 Season 1 build. Its arrival added another key 1.5-mile oval to the service, strengthening the lineup of NASCAR intermediate tracks available to members.
The release brought the full oval layout to the sim, allowing NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series drivers to race on the same surface that hosts the annual Pennzoil 400 and South Point 400. Over time, the track has also been updated in iRacing with improved visuals and support for additional series, ensuring it remains a staple of the sim’s oval schedule.
