Dirt 305 Sprint Car: Official Release

iRacing has expanded its dirt oval offerings today with the official release of the Dirt 305 Sprint Car, the entry-level machine in the newly launched Dirt Sprint Car lineup.

A New Era for Grassroots Dirt Racing

Nothing better epitomizes grassroots American racing than a winged Sprint Car slinging dirt on one of the scores of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and mile dirt ovals across the country. With the release of the 305 Sprint Car, iRacers now have the chance to experience that same raw, grassroots thrill from behind the wheel.

The 305: Accessible and Exciting

The 305 Sprint Car introduces drivers to the fundamentals of dirt sprint racing in a more approachable way than its 360 and 410 cubic-inch siblings. With its 305 cubic-inch powerplant, the car offers enough horsepower to keep racing intense while maintaining control that’s friendly for newcomers.

The car will debut immediately in iRacing’s Rookie Dirt Oval series, offering a clear progression for new dirt racers. By starting in the 305, drivers can learn throttle finesse, car control on slick dirt, and the art of wheel-to-wheel battles before advancing into faster sprint cars.

Expanding the Dirt Oval Ladder

The addition of the 305 Sprint Car comes as part of iRacing’s ongoing push into dirt racing, which launched earlier this year. Joining dirt late models and street stocks, the 305 adds depth and variety to official series and creates a true grassroots-to-progression ladder on dirt ovals.

Available Now

The Dirt 305 Sprint Car is available starting today in the iRacing service. Whether you’re brand new to dirt oval racing or a seasoned member eager to add sprint cars to your arsenal, the 305 is ready to sling dirt and deliver intense, side-by-side action.
