Dirt 360 Sprint Car: Official Release

iRacing officially releases the Dirt 360 Sprint Car on June 6, 2017, bringing another cornerstone machine to its dirt oval lineup. This car gives members access to one of the most competitive and widely raced Sprint Car divisions in real-world dirt racing.

The 360 Sprint Car arrives as part of iRacing’s expansion into dirt racing, following the launch of dirt tracks and cars earlier that same year. The 360 features a smaller engine than its 410 counterpart, making it lighter and slightly less powerful, but still a fierce challenge for drivers thanks to its high horsepower-to-weight ratio.

From its release onward, the Dirt 360 Sprint Car is placed into official dirt oval series, giving members a new option to compete in ranked events. It serves as a progression step between the beginner-friendly 305 Sprint Car and the top-level 410, providing variety and balance within iRacing’s dirt ecosystem.

The 360 quickly becomes a fan favorite, producing side-by-side action and demanding precise throttle and steering inputs. It stands as one of the best showcases of dirt racing’s intense, high-speed style.
