The Tatuus PM-18, representing the Indy Pro 2000 Championship, arrived in iRacing in September 2018 as the successor to the Pro Mazda. This release completed another key rung of the Road to Indy ladder, sitting between the entry-level USF 2000 and the high-powered Indy Lights.
The PM-18 brought modern design features to iRacing’s open-wheel lineup: carbon fiber construction, improved safety standards, increased horsepower, and more sophisticated aerodynamics. The car was praised immediately as a natural progression for sim racers climbing toward faster formula cars, offering both increased performance and new challenges.
