The Rallycross Atlanta circuit was released in iRacing as part of the sim’s dedicated Rallycross and Dirt Road expansion. Built into the infield of Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, the layout transforms part of the oval and road course into a mixed-surface rallycross sprint track.
Its release brought a U.S.-based rallycross venue into iRacing, complete with dirt, asphalt, tight corners, and a Joker Lap. Rallycross Atlanta quickly became a regular venue for the iRacing Rallycross World Championship and All-Star events.
What makes Rallycross Atlanta unique in iRacing
- Infield design: Utilizes the speedway’s infield space with a compact, spectator-friendly course.
- Surface variety: Dirt and asphalt sections force constant adaptation.
- Signature Joker Lap: Strategically longer route that often decides heat races.
- High-flying jump: A defining feature of the Atlanta layout.
- Real-world authenticity: Mirrors layouts used in U.S. rallycross competition.
Rallycross Atlanta’s inclusion expanded iRacing’s American rallycross roster, giving members a venue that balances technical dirt driving with high-speed asphalt sections.
