The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 debuts in iRacing’s GT3 roster.

The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 arrives in iRacing’s 2023 Season 4 build (September 2023), bringing the latest evolution of Lamborghini’s GT3 program to the sim.

Powered by a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 producing around 550 horsepower, the EVO2 refines the already successful Huracán GT3 platform. Its upgrades focus on aerodynamic efficiency, stability, and consistency — key traits for endurance and sprint racing at the highest levels.

Technical Highlights

  • Engine: 5.2L V10, naturally aspirated
  • Horsepower: ~550 hp (Balance of Performance dependent)
  • Transmission: 6-speed sequential paddle-shift
  • Chassis: Lightweight aluminum-carbon hybrid
  • Aero Updates: Revised bodywork and a new rear wing for improved efficiency
  • Electronics: Updated ABS and traction control systems for better drivability

Racing Context

The Huracán GT3 EVO2 competes in major GT3 series worldwide, including:

  • IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship
  • FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC)
  • GT World Challenge

The EVO2 update is Lamborghini’s response to evolving GT3 regulations, ensuring the Huracán remains competitive against rivals from Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, and Corvette.

In iRacing

In iRacing, the Huracán GT3 EVO2 expands the already stacked GT3 grid. Drivers experience its sharper aero balance, stable cornering, and smoother handling over long stints. It is especially strong in endurance events like the Daytona 24, Spa 24, and IMSA GT3 series, where consistency and tire management are critical.

The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 continues the brand’s reputation for aggressive design and competitive performance. In iRacing, it delivers a blend of speed, stability, and style that makes it a strong option for both GT3 rookies and experienced sim racers.

It looks wild, it sounds ferocious, and it races with unmistakable Lamborghini flair.
