The Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway (Dirt) track was introduced to iRacing to expand its dirt oval offerings in California, giving sim racers access to a purpose-built clay track at one of the West Coast’s premier motorsports facilities. Located in Bakersfield, California, Kern Raceway is typically known for its paved half-mile oval and road course. The dirt oval, however, provides a dedicated venue for grassroots dirt racing action in the region.
Its inclusion in iRacing gives members a chance to race on a modern dirt facility that plays host to weekly dirt track divisions and touring series. With its smooth surface, multiple grooves, and West Coast setting, it brings something fresh to the dirt racing catalog.
What makes it unique
- Length: 0.5 miles / 0.8 km
- Surface: asphalt
- Style: classic American short track
Kern brings authentic grassroots stock car action to iRacing.
