Nashville Superspeedway made its debut in iRacing as part of the 2021 Season 3 build, arriving just in time for NASCAR’s real-world return to the venue after nearly a decade away. The 1.33-mile oval had hosted NASCAR and IndyCar events from 2001 to 2011 before sitting idle, and its revival in both real life and the sim was a major moment.
The release gave iRacing members access to a unique concrete oval that doesn’t quite fit the mold of traditional NASCAR tracks. Too long to be a short track, yet shorter than intermediates, Nashville Superspeedway blends the challenges of both worlds. Its inclusion immediately made it a centerpiece of official series competition, while also serving as the virtual counterpart to NASCAR’s renewed presence in Tennessee.
What makes it unique
- Length: 1.33 miles / 2.14 km
