Texas Motor Speedway was released in iRacing to add one of NASCAR’s most prominent intermediate ovals. Opened in 1997 in Fort Worth, Texas, the track has hosted NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, Trucks, and IndyCar events, including the popular spring and fall NASCAR races.
Its arrival in iRacing gave members access to another high-speed 1.5-mile oval, a staple of modern NASCAR schedules. Over time, iRacing has updated the track to reflect real-world reconfigurations, most notably the 2017 repave and reprofile that reduced banking in Turns 1 and 2 from 24° to 20° while keeping Turns 3 and 4 steeper. These updates keep the digital version consistent with real-world racing.
What makes it unique
- Length: 2.66 miles / 4.28 km
