iRacing Presents Petit Le Mans powered by VCO

One of iRacing’s most prestigious special events is back — the iRacing Petit Le Mans powered by VCO. This 10-hour endurance classic brings the drama of multi-class racing to the digital version of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, home of the real-world IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale.

Event Overview

Petit Le Mans has long been considered one of the crown jewels of endurance racing, and iRacing continues that tradition by giving sim racers across the globe a chance to compete in this marquee event. Teams will battle traffic, fatigue, and strategy across ten grueling hours, testing not only raw pace but also coordination and consistency.

  • Track: Road Atlanta
  • License Requirement: D 4.0 Road
  • Team Event: Yes – minimum 2 drivers, maximum 16

Race Schedule

To ensure racers from around the world can participate, multiple time slots will be offered:

  • Timeslot #1: Friday 22:00 GMT / Friday 6:00 PM ET
  • Timeslot #2: Saturday 07:00 GMT / Saturday 3:00 AM ET
  • Timeslot #3: Saturday 12:00 GMT / Saturday 8:00 AM ET
  • Timeslot #4: Saturday 16:00 GMT / Saturday 12:00 PM ET
  • Timeslot #5: Sunday 00:00 GMT / Saturday 8:00 PM ET

Session Format

  • Sim Date: October 11, 2025
  • Sim Start Time: 10:55 AM
  • Warmup: 30 minutes
  • Qualifying: 8 minutes / 2 laps
  • Race: 10 hours

Dynamic weather and sky conditions will add to the unpredictability, making strategy and adaptability as important as outright speed.

  • Splits: By iRating
  • Field Size: 60 cars
  • Drive Through Limit: 50 incident points, plus every 20 after
  • Disqualification: None

As a team endurance event, drivers must share stints with teammates. Success hinges not just on individual pace, but also on pit stop execution, traffic management, and long-term consistency.
