iRacing Arcade Confirmed for December 2 Launch, Consoles in Spring 2026

The long-rumored iRacing Arcade is officially on the way — launching December 2 on PC with console versions to follow in Spring 2026. The new title blends classic iRacing realism with colorful visuals, base-building gameplay, and a lighter, more accessible racing experience.

A new trailer has officially confirmed that iRacing Arcade — the lighthearted, accessible spin-off of iRacing — will release on December 2, 2025, with console versions following in Spring 2026.

The trailer, released this week, gives the most detailed look yet at what players can expect when the “cutesy” iRacing sibling title arrives later this year. Alongside its colorful visuals and upbeat tone, iRacing Arcade introduces gameplay that blends traditional racing action with creative management and customization elements.

Build Your Own Motorsport Empire

One of the most surprising features revealed is a city-builder–style system, where players can construct and expand their own motorsport headquarters.

You’ll start with humble beginnings — a few metal shacks in an empty field — and gradually grow your base into a sprawling, neon-lit racing village. As your empire expands, so will your roster and capabilities. Players can hire drivers, each with unique skills and personalities, and customize liveries and post-race celebrations to create a personalized experience.

While this management layer seems to be more of a side activity, it looks to play a significant role in progression, reputation, and unlocking new opportunities within the game’s world.

Cars, Tracks, and Gameplay

The trailer confirms 12 tracks at launch, showcasing a mix of real-world circuits and fictional creations. Among them are Miami, Motorland Aragon, and what appears to be a completely new fantasy circuit designed specifically for iRacing Arcade.

Interestingly, not all of these venues currently exist in iRacing’s main simulation — most notably Kyalami — leading to speculation that some content could migrate between the two titles in the future.

Car variety also appears wide-ranging, featuring real-world and fantasy-inspired vehicles. Highlights include:

  • A fictional TCR-style touring car blending elements of the Audi RS3 and Hyundai Elantra N.
  • An F1-inspired open-wheeler with a modern chassis, halo device, and the unmistakable scream of a V10 engine.
  • Licensed categories like F4, Porsche Supercup, and IMSA prototypes and GTs.

These selections suggest iRacing Arcade aims to appeal both to serious racers looking for quick, fun action and casual players discovering the world of motorsport.

Console Players Join in 2026

While PC players will get their hands on the game this December, console fans will have to wait a little longer. The trailer confirms a Spring 2026 window for PlayStation and Xbox releases, though exact dates have yet to be announced.

Given the scope of the project, it’s likely iRacing Arcade will continue evolving post-launch — especially if it integrates new circuits, car classes, or cross-content features with its mainline sibling.

iRacing Arcade looks to offer a fresh, playful take on racing games while keeping the DNA of its realistic parent intact. With base-building mechanics, driver recruitment, and a blend of real and fictional racing content, it could attract both sim racers and casual gamers alike.

Whether it becomes a gateway into the world of iRacing or simply a fun standalone racer, December 2 is shaping up to be an exciting date for racing fans.
