MOZA builds some of the most popular direct drive wheels in sim racing right now. The CS Pro, KS Pro, and FSR series have found their way into a lot of iRacers’ rigs. Pit House handles the basics well enough, but there’s a gap between what MOZA’s native software does and what iRacers want from it, especially if you’re already running SimHub.

The AZOM SimHub plugin fills that gap. It’s free, takes about five minutes to install, and gives your MOZA hardware a full SimHub integration that Pit House simply does not offer.
What Is AZOM?
AZOM is an open-source plugin developed by the community. It acts as a bridge between SimHub and your MOZA devices, giving SimHub direct control over LEDs, dashboards, haptics, and wheel buttons that previously only Pit House could access.
It started life as the “Unofficial MOZA SimHub Plugin” before being renamed AZOM. The plugin is available for free through the official AZOM site and through the OverTake.gg plugin library. It requires SimHub 9.11.8 or later, so if you’re running an older version, update SimHub before dropping in the plugin.
What the AZOM SimHub Plugin Actually Does
AZOM is not just a compatibility shim. It exposes a full set of MOZA-specific features inside SimHub that don’t exist in Pit House at all.
LED Pipeline Control
Your MOZA wheel’s rev lights and button LEDs can be driven entirely through SimHub’s native LED system. That means the same custom rev light patterns, flag effects, and incident alerts that SimHub supports for other wheels work on your MOZA wheel too. If you’ve set up SimHub LED profiles for iRacing before, your existing work carries over.
Cockpit Controls
AZOM maps your MOZA wheel’s physical buttons to more than 40 plugin-specific actions. FFB strength, torque limit, rotation angle, and display brightness can all be adjusted on the fly from the wheel itself, without touching Pit House or leaving the sim. In iRacing, where car FFB setups vary significantly, this matters more than it sounds.
Dashboard Channels and Live Telemetry
If your MOZA wheel has an LCD screen, AZOM feeds it through SimHub’s channel mapping system. That means your screen content can be driven by iRacing telemetry rather than being limited to what Pit House provides. AZOM also exposes MOZA hardware data as live SimHub properties: base connection status, MCU and motor temperatures, current FFB strength, steering angle, and pedal inputs. These can be used in dashboards, triggers, or custom SimHub conditions.
Base Haptics
AZOM adds three LFE slots inside SimHub for base-level haptic effects with engine rumble presets. This gives you an additional layer of tactile feedback control beyond what Pit House offers on its own.
Pedal Adjustments
MOZA pedal travel, stiffness, and force settings can be accessed and adjusted through SimHub when AZOM is active. It keeps everything in one place rather than split between two applications.
How to Install the AZOM SimHub Plugin
Installation is simple. There is no separate installer to run.
- Download the latest
MozaPlugin.dllfrom the official AZOM install guide. - Copy the DLL into your SimHub installation folder. The default path is
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub. - Restart SimHub.
- Go to Settings > Plugins inside SimHub.
- Enable “AZOM” from the plugin list and restart SimHub once more when prompted.
SimHub auto-detects your connected MOZA devices after that second restart. You’ll see a banner prompting the restart, and once it’s done, your MOZA hardware shows up under Devices ready to configure. The whole process takes under five minutes.
Why iRacing Users Specifically Benefit
iRacing has deep SimHub support. A lot of iRacers run SimHub for dashboards, haptics, overlays, or LED setups tied directly to iRacing telemetry. Without AZOM, MOZA wheels sit outside that ecosystem in ways that matter.
With AZOM installed, your MOZA wheel’s rev lights respond to iRacing telemetry the same way any fully supported SimHub wheel would. Blue flag, yellow flag, and pit limiter effects work through SimHub’s standard pipeline rather than depending on whatever Pit House chooses to do with them.
The on-wheel button mapping to FFB adjustments is genuinely useful in iRacing specifically. The service runs hundreds of cars, and FFB setups vary widely between them. Being able to dial in FFB strength from the wheel during a session, without alt-tabbing, is the kind of quality-of-life improvement that sounds minor until you’re in a multiclass race and want to quickly adjust between stints.
For longer races, having your base and motor temperatures available as SimHub properties means you can surface them on a dashboard and keep an eye on heat load during extended endurance sessions. It’s not something you’ll need in a 30-minute sprint, but in a longer event it’s useful information to have visible.
What Hardware Does AZOM Support?
AZOM supports essentially the full current MOZA lineup: all MOZA bases, the Universal Hub, ES wheel series, Vision GS, GS V2P, KS Pro, CS Pro, FSR1 and FSR2 pedals, the AB9 active shifter, HGP and SGP shifters, multi-function stalks, mBooster pedals, handbrake, and CM1, CM2, and CRP2 pedals. If you bought a MOZA product in the last couple of years, it’s almost certainly on the supported list.
What to Know Before Installing
AZOM is a community project, not an official MOZA release. MOZA’s support team won’t help with issues that come from it. That said, the plugin is actively maintained, well documented, and widely used in the MOZA community.
If AZOM does not appear in SimHub’s plugin list after placing the DLL and completing both restarts, verify you’re on SimHub 9.11.8 or later under Help > About. An outdated SimHub build is the most common reason the plugin fails to surface in the plugin UI, and it is an easy fix.
AZOM does not replace Pit House. Both run simultaneously. Pit House still handles firmware updates, FFB baseline calibration, and auto-center. AZOM handles the SimHub side of things. They are not in conflict.
