Cosworth is offering a free 14-day trial of Pi Toolbox Plus for all iRacing members, running from June 26 through July 10, 2026. The trial is timed to the iRacing Spa 24 and gives drivers access to the same data analysis platform used across professional motorsport at no cost, covering every GT3 and GTP car in the sim.

The free trial covers pre-event testing, race build-up, live analysis during the Spa 24, and post-race performance review. Current Pi Toolbox Plus subscribers can update via the in-app updater or the Members Portal at members.cosworth.com to access the new features ahead of race week.
Four new analysis tools are included in the latest update. Tyre energy tracking shows how much work is going through each tyre as a live value and accumulated across a stint, giving a clearer picture of degradation than lap times alone. An understeer and oversteer measurement tool compares actual yaw rate against the predicted neutral yaw rate from steering angle and speed, producing a precise balance number through each corner rather than relying on the driver to read the steering trace. Aero platform data shows ride height, rake and pitch with damper displacement and velocity across braking, cornering and load phases. A real-time strategy workbook stores stint data for the current and three previous stints, covering laps completed, pit lap and fuel used.
The new features cover the major GT3 cars including the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, Ferrari 296 GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R, McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Corvette Z06 GT3.R and others, as well as the GTP class including the Acura ARX-06, BMW M Hybrid V8, Cadillac V-Series.R and Porsche 963. Cosworth has confirmed the supported car list will expand later in the year.
Cosworth has partnered with iRacing since 2021, bringing professional-grade data analysis tools to the sim. Pi Toolbox is the same platform engineers use at the real-world race track, repackaged for simulator use. The free trial removes the subscription barrier entirely, making it the lowest-effort way to see whether telemetry data changes how you approach car setup and driving improvement. Even drivers who have never opened a data analysis tool before can get useful information from the four new features in under an hour of practice running.
The four new tools reward different stages of a session. Tyre energy data is most useful mid-stint, where you can watch whether a particular corner is consistently loading the front-left harder than expected. The under and oversteer measurement is useful in setup work, where a precise balance number replaces the subjective feel of whether the car is loose or tight. Aero platform analysis is most relevant to GT3 endurance runners who want to understand how ride height changes over a fuel load, and the strategy workbook earns its keep in multi-driver or longer-stint races where pit window timing and fuel delta are being tracked across the field.
After July 10, Pi Toolbox Plus reverts to a paid subscription if you choose to keep it. The trial does not require a credit card to activate, so there is no auto-renewal to cancel. If you have been considering adding telemetry analysis to your iRacing workflow, the Spa 24 window is a practical time to test it against a real race event.
To activate the trial, download Pi Toolbox from members.cosworth.com/pi-toolbox and the telemetry converter from members.cosworth.com/telemetry-converter. Both downloads are free during the trial window. Cosworth has published video guides covering setup and first use. Trial access is removed automatically on July 10, so this week is the practical window to install and run through a practice session before the Spa 24 schedule fills in.
