The Porsche Esports Supercup results are in from Spa-Francorchamps: Florian Lebigre claimed the Sprint and Charlie Collins took the Feature with a final-lap pass to close out a split-honors weekend. Lebigre ran a dominant seven-lap Sprint for the Verstappen SR team, while Collins, driving for Coanda, inherited the Feature lead on the final lap when a penalty fell on race leader Ariel. Both leave Spa tied at 66 points apiece, setting up a clean head-to-head duel for the championship from Round 2 onward.

Sprint Race: Lebigre in Command
Lebigre put together one of the stronger Sprint performances of the opening round, leading from the front and managing the seven-lap distance without any serious challenge. The Verstappen SR entry carried strong pace through Spa’s high-speed sectors, and Lebigre converted that advantage into a clean lights-to-flag run. Spa’s long straight gives trailing drivers a tow opportunity, but Lebigre’s gap made any late attack irrelevant. It was the kind of focused Sprint drive that accumulates consistent points across a full championship season, even when Feature race outcomes break differently.
Feature Race: Collins on the Final Lap
The Feature ran with Ariel holding the lead through the bulk of the race, with Collins tracking closely from the Coanda car. The result shifted on the final lap when Ariel received a penalty, opening the door for Collins to take the lead and cross the line for the win. Collins did not need to force the pass himself: the penalty did the work, but he was in position to benefit because his strategy and pace had kept him within range throughout.
Staying close, managing the race without overcommitting, and executing cleanly when the situation changed: that is how Feature wins get built at this level. A driver who pushes past their tire window early loses that opportunity when a late-race incident or penalty falls in front of them. Collins stayed close enough to matter, and the result followed.
Standings and What Comes Next
Collins and Lebigre are tied at 66 points after Round 1, which sets up a clean head-to-head dynamic for the rounds ahead. Both drivers now have a race win on their record and a clear performance benchmark against the full field. The championship tie means every position swing in any coming round carries direct championship implications. The rest of the field will need consistent top finishes to break into the title picture before the series moves into its later rounds.
Round 2 heads to Silverstone on September 26. Silverstone is one of the fastest circuits on the iRacing calendar and a different challenge from Spa’s elevation changes and wide sweeping corners. Collins and Lebigre will arrive as co-leaders, and the Silverstone layout tends to produce clean racing with strong overtaking flow through its fast complexes.
