The official launch video for the Audi RS3 LMS Gen2 TCR is now live. iRacing’s new content clip shows the car running through multiple track environments, giving a clean first look at body lines, liveries, and the way it moves through corners.
The Gen2 replaces the original RS3 LMS in official iRacing events starting with the 2026 Season 2 build. Compared to gen1, the exterior updates are noticeable: sharper body panels, an updated livery template, and a cockpit redesign based on the current Audi RS3 road car.
In particular, the Season 2 TCR physics refresh makes this car feel more sorted than its predecessor. The braking model now includes a rear proportioning valve tuned to real-world specs. As a result, hard stops and trail braking feel more predictable and consistent lap to lap.
One thing that sets the RS3 LMS Gen2 apart from most of iRacing’s lineup: it’s front-wheel drive. That means managing the front tires is central to everything, from corner entry speed to throttle application to tire life. However, once the driving style clicks, the FWD handling is genuinely rewarding.
The car is available now in the iRacing store. It runs in the TCR Virtual Challenge and other hosted session options from Season 2 onward.
