eNASCAR Race 6 Indianapolis and the Brickyard Comeback
Indianapolis Motor Speedway returned to the eNASCAR schedule in 2024 after a three-year absence. When NASCAR moved its Cup Series event to the infield road course from 2021 to 2023, eNASCAR followed and dropped the oval as well. However, when the real-world series brought the oval back in 2024, the top-level esports series came with it. The Brickyard has stayed on the schedule since, and it’s earned its place.
Around since 1909, Indianapolis Motor Speedway was originally paved with more than three million bricks. NASCAR first visited for the inaugural Brickyard 400 in 1994, and eNASCAR has raced on the 2.5-mile rectangular layout since 2010. The track’s four equal straightaways and banked corners reward clean laps and punish tire and fuel miscalculations.
Championship Standings Before Race 6
eNASCAR Race 6 Indianapolis Standings
Steven Wilson enters Indianapolis as the runaway points leader. The Spire Motorsports driver carries 193 points, two wins, and the Segment 1 title. He has finished in the top 10 in all five races this season. Wilson is effectively locked into the 2026 eNASCAR Playoffs and won here last year in dramatic fashion, running on fumes through triple overtime while Daniel Faulkingham was forced to pit from the lead.
Bobby Zalenski sits second with 107 points and two wins, but he’s flirting with danger. His victories at Charlotte and Coronado built his total, while three other finishes left significant points on the table. As a result, he enters the Brickyard in a precarious position despite being a two-time winner this season.
Garrett Lowe climbed to third after winning at Iowa in Race 5. He’s now in the playoff picture and trails Wilson by just two points in Segment 2 heading into tonight. Past Brickyard winners in the field also include Faulkingham (2024), Zack Novak (2017), and Dylan Duval (2016). All four are in the field tonight.
eNASCAR Race 6 Indianapolis Playoff Stakes
Below the top three, drivers are bunched tight. Only 38 points separate Vicente Salas (157 points), Wyatt Tinsley (128), Tucker Minter (127), Connor Yeroschak (126), and Shawn Conklin (119) across positions four through eight. The playoff cutline sits between 10th and 11th. Donovan Strauss is on the bubble at 111 points, six ahead of Sebastian Marin at 12th.
Because the field is this close, tonight’s result at the Brickyard has real consequences. A strong run for a bubble driver could push them safely inside. A bad night for someone currently inside the top 10 could cost them their playoff spot with only four races remaining.
The Segment 2 mini-championship also wraps up tonight. Wilson leads with 80 points, but Lowe is just two back at 78. Jordy Lopez sits third in the segment at 70 and is still in range if circumstances break his way at Indianapolis.
What Happened at Iowa in Race 5
Garrett Lowe ended Steven Wilson’s win streak at Iowa Speedway last Tuesday. The race ran green all 90 laps on a fixed setup, which leveled the playing field but didn’t eliminate strategy. Lowe won his heat and used the outside lane advantage on restarts to take the lead from Sebastian Marin. Wilson pitted first at halfway, briefly jumped ahead, but Lowe had two extra laps of tire life and made the pass stick before the pit cycle closed.
Wilson dropped back to third, ending his consecutive wins. Lowe held off Marin at the flag for his first series win since 2024. The victory all but locked him into the playoffs heading into the Brickyard.
Up Next at Nashville Superspeedway
Following Indianapolis, the series moves to Nashville Superspeedway in two weeks for the start of Segment 3. Tucker Minter won there last season in a caution-free battle over Ryan Luza, Bobby Zalenski, and Wilson. Only three more races remain after Indy to secure a place in the 2026 playoffs. The Nashville Countdown to Green starts July 28 at 7:45 p.m. ET.
