Race Control and Pit Speed Limiter
The most significant changes in this build involve race control’s pit speed limit system. Three separate fixes address how the system handles cars running close to the limit. First, cars now receive a brief allowance for minor physical oscillations when vehicle speed is near the strict threshold. This should reduce inadvertent speeding penalties from suspension movement alone. Second, additional preventative measures have been added against overspeed triggers in general. Third, the build provides more leeway for cars entering pit lane. Overall, the limiter should feel more forgiving in edge cases without changing the intent of the rules.
Heat Racing also received corrections in this patch. A session generation bug has been fixed for cases where the maximum car count is set lower than the available grid positions. Additionally, the ability to rewind events that only contain a Qualify and Race session has been restored.
GT3 Traction Control Tuning
Across the GT3 class, traction control intervention has been reduced at the most restrictive end of the dry range. TC1, TC2, and TC11 remain unchanged depending on the vehicle. The same adjustment applies to wet TC at the low end, while maximum wet assist stays the same. Because the changes scale proportionally across the full dry and wet range, the effect will be subtle for most settings rather than a dramatic shift.
The Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020 receives an additional update: TC values have been revised for all available setups. As a result, drivers using saved setups should check their settings before their next race.
Fuel Calculator Fixes
The Fuel Calculator is significantly more stable after this patch. Two crash bugs specific to the Mercedes-AMG W12 and W13 E Performance cars have been resolved. A hang that occurred when a calculated stint length returned zero milliseconds has also been fixed. Furthermore, a general calculation error in the widget logic has been corrected. These were crashing issues rather than cosmetic ones, so the fix is meaningful for anyone who uses these cars regularly.
Spotter Packs and UI Updates
A new Ukrainian spotter pack from Vitaliy Chizhuk joins the roster. In addition, audio updates were applied to the Chinese (Tong Li), Italian (Renzo A. Olivieri and Marco Arcidiacono), and Spanish (Ari Cejas) packs.
Several UI fixes are also included. Qualifying scrutiny rules now appear consistently in the Weekend Rules display across all sessions, and pace and pit speed values have returned to the Weekend Rules widget. The Incident Tracker and Session Rules elements now render at full opacity. Session Entries display correctly in replays, including for team events.
Car and Track Fixes
Among the car-specific fixes, the BMW M8 GTE rear anti-roll bar stiffness selection now registers correctly after failing to apply driver changes in previous builds. The Corvette C8.R GTE received a text correction in the pit stop black box. The EURO NASCAR V8GP gets a spoiler color fix for the fixed paint scheme, the removal of fuel level adjustment in fixed setup events, and corrected opponent visuals that now accurately show spoiler position and tire compound. The Modified-SK benefits from a stronger FFB low-pass filter to reduce high-strength oscillations when the car is stopped.
Track fixes are mostly cosmetic but worth noting. Algarve’s flagman Barney is finally equipped with an actual flag. At Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Legends Oval, the pace car now enters pit lane more cleanly. The Qualcomm Circuit at Naval Base Coronado no longer shows crowds when grandstands are set to invisible, and the aircraft carrier has been corrected with its proper name and number.
