Michigan International Speedway (MIS) was added to iRacing to provide members with one of NASCAR’s fastest and most historic tracks. Known as the “sister track” to Auto Club Speedway, Michigan’s sweeping two-mile oval was a natural fit for the sim.
Its arrival gave racers the chance to experience 200+ mph pack speeds in NASCAR stock cars and breathtaking slipstream battles in IndyCars. With its wide surface and long straights, MIS brought another level of drafting intensity and strategy to iRacing’s oval schedule.
Over the years, Michigan has remained a fan favorite in the sim, hosting countless official series, league events, and special races.
