The 2026–27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series is drawing a serious crowd this season. With 368 total students registered across 228 different schools in the US and Canada, this is not a niche sim racing competition anymore. It is a legitimate college esports program with real scholarship money and real competition on the line.
Peachtree Pursuit Time Attack: Dylan Ault and the Race to the Top 100
Cal State Sacramentoโs Dylan Ault put in the quickest Time Attack lap of the qualifying window, earning the No. 1 seed in Group 1 for the Week 1 bracket. Ault enters tonightโs competition as the benchmark the rest of the field is chasing. Jacob Wilkerson from Tarrant County College District was second fastest overall and leads Group 2 as the bracket takes shape.
The Time Attack format puts each driver on track solo to post their best individual lap, removing drafting and traffic from the equation. It is a pure measure of raw pace, and the 100 best laps across the qualifying window earned the bracket spots. The remaining competitors who did not crack the top 100 will have to wait until next season to try again.
Some names worth watching carried strong credentials into Week 1. Connor Yeroschak from the University of Calgary enters as the defending series champion, giving this bracket a built-in target on his back from day one. Brian Mercurio of DeSales University brings crossover experience from the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series, making him another driver to track as the bracket plays out.
Among the school storylines, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte leads all programs with 14 qualified entries in the Week 1 bracket. Nine schools total have multiple entries, and 75 schools have at least one competitor in the bracket. With 56 schools eligible for the new School Championship, there is a team dimension to this tournament that goes well beyond individual finishes.

What the Week 1 Bracket Looks Like Tonight
The 100-driver Week 1 bracket is broken into groups with seeding driven by Time Attack results. That puts Ault and Wilkerson at the top of their respective groups heading into competition, but seeding only sets the starting position. Anything can happen once the bracket goes live, and one rough lap ends your night regardless of your qualifying time.
Week 1 competition runs tonight, September 23, at 7:00 PM ET at EchoPark Speedway, a 1.54-mile oval about 20 miles south of Atlanta. Every driver competes in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series vehicles in iRacing, keeping the equipment consistent across the field. Only 40 of the 100 competitors will advance to Week 2 on September 30, so the bracket cuts more than half the field in a single night.
The full Peachtree Pursuit tournament has $60,000 in scholarships on the line. Tune in to eNASCAR.com/live or follow iRacingโs social media channels to catch all the Week 1 bracket action as the 2026–27 eNASCAR College iRacing Series officially gets underway tonight.
