Bobby Zalenski had no business winning at Nashville Superspeedway on Tuesday night. He started 17th and spent most of the race in fuel-saving mode around 10th, looking at a decent points haul and not much more. Then the cautions fell at exactly the right moments. eNASCAR Nashville Race 7 became one of the wilder finishes of the 2026 season, with Zalenski surviving three overtime restarts to claim his 21st career win.

Zalenski made his key move during the pit cycle with around 40 laps to go. A large chunk of the field tried to stretch fuel to the end. He came in for four fresh tires and a can of gas, dropping off the lead lap in the process. He clawed his lap back, and when a caution flew with 12 laps remaining, he sat fifth on the freshest rubber in the field. Three overtime restarts later, he crossed the finish line ahead of Casey Kirwan and rookie Shawn Conklin.
The win is Zalenski’s third of 2026 and his 21st career eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series victory. It breaks a tie with Nick Ottinger for second place on the all-time wins list. He entered Nashville just 15 points above the Playoff cut. He leaves with a 40-plus point cushion and the No. 1 seed heading into the final stretch of the Regular Season.
The Rookie Who Almost Had It
Dylan Basen had the race nearly won. The RFK Racing rookie led 55 laps from the front, coasting through corners to hit his fuel numbers. He put on a patience clinic that had the field chasing ghosts. When the caution fell with 12 laps to go, however, he pitted for tires along with most of the field. The overtime chaos got him. A wreck during the restarts collected him, and he classified 33rd despite leading more laps than anyone in the race.
Meanwhile, his RFK Racing teammate Shawn Conklin ran a cleaner path through the overtime. Starting fourth on the final restart, Conklin held his position and finished third, his best result of the 2026 season. Conklin now leads the Rookie of the Year standings, a full race ahead of TC Esports’ Matthew Morton. He also sits inside the top ten on points, so he currently holds a Playoff spot with two races left in the Regular Season.
Wilson Races From Someone Else’s Setup
The strangest subplot of the night belonged to defending champion Steven Wilson. Power went out at his home in North Carolina during a storm before the race. Wilson reportedly drove to former eNASCAR winner Briar LaPradd’s house to compete. He raced on an unfamiliar setup in an unfamiliar environment while a storm rolled through back home.
The unfamiliarity showed early. Wilson qualified 38th, got caught in contact on Lap 5, and dropped to the back. He worked quietly through the field from there. On Lap 89, his car snapped loose in Turns 1 and 2, the same corner that gave him trouble in qualifying, and a wreck ended his night. He finished 29th. Wilson already holds a Playoff berth on points, however, and remains a serious championship contender going forward.
eNASCAR Nashville Playoff Standings After Race 7
Zalenski, Wilson, Parker White, and Garrett Lowe clinched their Playoff spots via wins. The six remaining spots on points go to Tucker Minter, Wyatt Tinsley, Vicente Salas, Shawn Conklin, Connor Yeroschak, and Casey Kirwan. Femi Olatunbosun is first in line to push someone out, sitting six points back of Kirwan, who holds 10th in points. A win from any driver currently outside the Playoffs could shift the bubble, as long as they finish top 20 overall on the season.
Next up is Richmond Raceway on August 4. The short track heat race format offers the most championship points of any event on the schedule. Consequently, every bubble driver needs to run well there. A strong Richmond result could scramble the standings heading into the Daytona wild card on August 18. Last year, Wilson swept to victory at Richmond. With the Regular Season winding down, those two races are the final shots for anyone to punch a win into the Playoffs. Miss them, and the Regular Season is over.
