The wait is over—iRacing’s 2025 Season 4 build has officially arrived. With three brand-new cars, a brand-new circuit in Mexico City, a completely redesigned in-sim UI, and a long list of rescanned and refreshed tracks, this season’s update is one of the biggest yet.

From open-wheel prospects to GT machinery, from NASCAR oval rescans to international road courses, there’s something for everyone in this release. Here’s a quick look at the highlights:

Major Highlights

  • New Sim UI: The in-sim interface has been rebuilt from the ground up. Expect a fresh look, new functionality, and an easier way to manage your on-track experience.
  • Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez: Mexico City makes its iRacing debut with seven configurations—all fully AI-enabled. From the iconic Foro Sol stadium section to the high-speed oval, this track is packed with variety.
  • Three New Cars:
    • Dallara IL-15 (INDY NXT) – the final step on the INDYCAR ladder, rain-ready right out of the box.
    • Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO – Aston’s latest GT3 challenger, available for both AI and rain racing.
    • Ford Mustang GT4 – the Mustang enters GT4 competition with Multimatic engineering and full AI/rain support.
  • BMW M4 GT3 EVO: All owners of the M4 GT3 automatically receive the updated EVO spec with new physics and artwork.
  • NASCAR Refresh Project: New laser scans of Charlotte, North Wilkesboro, Sonoma, and World Wide Technology Raceway, plus major art overhauls for Daytona, Chicago, COTA, Texas, and Watkins Glen.
  • Oulton Park Overhaul: One of iRacing’s classic base-package circuits has been fully modernized with new visuals.
  • Physics Updates: The entire GT4 class has been reworked with updated tires and drivability, the Gen 4 NASCAR cars get a new drafting model, and hybrid systems across multiple classes have been refined.
  • AI Racing Expansion: In addition to the new content, AI drivers can now handle the NASCAR Gen4 Monte Carlo and Taurus, North Wilkesboro Oval, COTA NASCAR West, and more—with over 300 new opponent paint scheme options.
  • Cosworth Pi Toolbox: Every iRacer now gets access to the same professional telemetry suite used by real-world teams, completely free.

Where to Start

Whether you want to test the new UI, turn laps in Mexico City, or shake down one of the new cars in the rain, there’s no shortage of things to try on day one. And this is just the beginning—you can expect fresh league schedules, series updates, and community events to make full use of the new content.
