The iRacing community is buzzing with speculation after reports surfaced from the IMSA garage at Daytona this past January. Several individuals connected to IMSA teams claim that iRacing staff were not only scanning the new Corvette GT3 and Mustang GT3, but also Aston Martin’s latest Vantage GT3 EVO.
While nothing has been officially confirmed, this lines up with iRacing’s long history of scanning new GT cars during IMSA events. If true, the move would ensure Aston Martin remains represented at the highest level of sim racing, keeping pace with other manufacturers in the ultra-competitive GT3 class.
For now, fans will need to stay patient — but the thought of a newly minted Vantage EVO joining iRacing has many already imagining how it will stack up against Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, and others in the GT3 stable.
