Three short oval circuits received significant visual overhauls in iRacing’s 2026 Season 2 build. Lanier National Speedway, Langley Speedway, and USA International Speedway all got the full treatment — track surfaces, buildings, trackside objects, 3D foliage, textures, shaders, and lighting updated to iRacing’s current standards. Here’s what changed at each one.
Lanier National Speedway
Lanier received the most comprehensive update of the three, covering both its asphalt and dirt configurations. The track surface, surrounding buildings, trackside objects, trees, shrubs, and 3D foliage were all updated. Textures, shaders, and lighting have been rebuilt to match iRacing’s current artistic standards across both configs.
Beyond the visuals, Lanier got a functional change that directly affects how you race there. The pit road layout has been updated: you now enter pit road in Turn 4 and exit in Turn 1. Previously, leaving the pits required a full loop of the infield before rejoining the racing surface. That full loop is gone. The updated pit road layout makes stops faster and less disruptive to your lap rhythm.
The maximum allowable car count at Lanier has also increased from 45 to 60. Larger grids are now possible without any workarounds.
The dirt configuration received much of the environment artwork from the asphalt overhaul, including updated buildings, objects, and plant life.
Langley Speedway
Langley received a full art refresh matching the same scope as Lanier’s asphalt config. Track surface, buildings, trackside objects, trees, shrubs, and 3D foliage were all updated. Textures, shaders, and lighting have been rebuilt to current standards. Langley is a tight, competitive oval that tends to produce good racing, and the updated visuals make it a significantly nicer place to spend a race night.
USA International Speedway
USA International Speedway received the full visual overhaul across both its asphalt and dirt configurations. Track surface, buildings, trackside objects, and surrounding scenery were all updated, along with the 3D foliage. Textures, shaders, and lighting have been rebuilt to current standards on both configs. A camera set update was also included as part of the Season 2 update at this track.
All three tracks are available as part of iRacing’s standard content library, and existing owners get the updated visuals automatically at no additional cost. The overhauls bring them closer in visual fidelity to some of iRacing’s newer track releases, and all three are worth revisiting if you haven’t been out there recently.
