The iRacePlan stint planner is live with a complete rebuild, now available to all users. After months of development and a beta period, the team dropped the full release this week.

The biggest change is speed. The calculation engine now runs in your browser, so every adjustment updates instantly. No more waiting on a server response when you’re tweaking fuel loads ten minutes before the race.
What’s New in the iRacePlan Stint Planner
The team redesigned the interface around five dedicated tabs: Strategy, Drivers, Timeline, Analytics, and Settings. The old single-page layout is gone. Each part of your race plan now gets its own dedicated view, which makes the whole thing far less cluttered when you work through a complex stint schedule.
Real-time collaboration is new. Your whole team can work on the same strategy simultaneously, with live indicators showing who’s online and what’s changing. For endurance crews that coordinate across Discord while planning, that’s a genuine quality-of-life upgrade.
Race Mode is one of the more useful additions. It’s a floating widget that runs during the race itself, tracking stint progress, pit countdown, fuel status, and iTelemetry data in real time. You’re not just planning in iRacePlan before the race. You’re running the race inside it.
The team also overhauled the Garage 61 integration. You can now browse your events, pick specific lap ranges, and preview detailed stats before importing. That means cleaner pace data going into your strategy, rather than averages that outlier laps drag down.
Other additions include a drag-and-drop stint timeline, a rebuilt fuel optimizer, driver fairness analytics, undo/redo, auto-save, stint notes, and bulk editing. The full changelog is longer, but those are the ones that matter most for weekly endurance racing.
iRacePlan is free to use. If you run endurance or team races in iRacing and haven’t tried the rebuilt iRacePlan stint planner yet, now’s a good time.
