The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 is one of the most talked-about new GT3 cars of 2026, and for good reason. It headlines the real-world DTM grid and is tied to a genuine iRacing partnership. But if you are waiting to drive it in iRacing, you will need to be patient.
Here is exactly what is real, what is not, and what the iRacing-DTM deal actually means for sim racers.
What the Lamborghini Temerario GT3 Actually Is
The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 is the successor to the Huracán GT3 EVO2. Lamborghini introduced the Temerario road car as its new V8 hybrid supercar, and the GT3 racing variant followed for the 2026 season. ABT Sportsline is campaigning it in the DTM with Marco Mapelli and Kelvin van der Linde, while GRT fields cars for Mirko Bortolotti and Maximilian Paul.
It is a real car on a real grid in real races. It is not vaporware, and the hype is justified.
What the iRacing-DTM Partnership Actually Means
iRacing launched an official DTM Series on April 23, 2026. That partnership is legitimate. The series uses real DTM branding and runs on tracks that mirror the real calendar.
The catch: iRacing does not yet have the Temerario GT3 in the sim. The official DTM Series currently uses the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO as a stand-in. iRacing and Lamborghini have not announced a Temerario GT3 release date at the time of writing.
If you race DTM in iRacing today, you are driving a Huracán. It is still a great car. It is just not the car on the real 2026 DTM grid.
Where You Can Drive the Temerario GT3 Right Now
RaceRoom Racing Experience has the Temerario GT3 available through its DTM 2026 Pack. If you want to drive the new car in a sim today, RaceRoom is your current option.
For iRacing users, the best move is to jump into the official DTM Series with the Huracán GT3 EVO and keep an eye on iRacing content announcements. When the Temerario does arrive, the demand will be there. We will update this article when iRacing confirms the car is on the way.
